Theme Of The Fortnight: Events of all sorts across the region in the coming months

NATIONAL HERITAGE:  16-17 September: Journées du Patrimoine - National Heritage Day, throughout France. Take advantage of this weekend to visit a host of monuments and heritage buildings that are not normally open to the public.


OCTOBER 2006

ARTS:  27 October - 5 November: Mediterranean Cinema Festival, MONTPELLIER.


In addition:
- Montpellier has a busy dance season.
- Throughout the year: Exhibition celebrating Flemish and Dutch painting. Musée Calvet. AVIGNON.
